Use your own Google Drive or Dropbox
You upload and check the files yourself. This guide cannot verify a manual upload.
Show the four upload steps
- Download the export. Keep every file and ZIP part the platform supplies. An export may omit older items.
- Upload every supplied file. Create a new empty folder in your Google Drive or Dropbox. Upload every ZIP part and loose file. If the export includes folders, use the provider’s website or desktop app on a computer to preserve their subfolders; mobile folder uploads are unverified.
- Wait for the upload. Check your provider’s upload or sync status and resolve any errors.
- Check the copy. Compare every supplied folder and subfolder path, filename, and file size with your download. Download and open an important saved file before clearing posts.
Keep your original download until you are satisfied with the copy.
